Hi, I am Wayne Garrus III, the founder of The Tutor 4 You.

I started tutoring back in high school, and it didn’t take long for me to realize the impact I was having. My peers weren’t just improving in class—they were actually excited to learn. They felt more comfortable asking questions, opening up about what they didn’t understand, and genuinely engaging with the material. The difference? I wasn’t a teacher—I was one of them.

That experience sparked something in me. I saw how powerful peer-to-peer learning could be, and I knew I wanted to build something around that idea.

I started this tutoring service: to create a space where students feel safe, supported, and truly understood through peer-to-peer learning.

This isn’t just tutoring. It’s a community where learning is collaborative, confidence is built, and everyone has something valuable to offer.
 

It’s not just about helping students learn—it’s also about rewarding those who are already excelling. I believe being smart should be something to celebrate, so I created a model where students can earn money by using their knowledge to help others succeed.
